It's fun to start your own journey and be the boss of your own life, you're always in control, you own your time, nobody can command you. Most people were so blinded by this idea of "entrepreneurship". They think it's cool, they think that once they step into the entrepreneur world then they already made it in life and problems won't come anymore. The truth is starting your own journey is really fun but you have to be aware of the changes that will happen fast in your life, I mean these changes are not fun at all. Starting your own journey is not all about fun and games so I will reveal the three mistakes that most people commit when starting their own journey.
1. You thought that it's going to be easy.
They were blinded about what they see or hear. They get excited too much about the post of a show off wannabe entrepreneur in social media. They want to have cars, mansions, chicks, fancy shoes, millions too. They don't know the difficulty that lies ahead. All they want is happiness and success, they don't have any idea what kind of life is waiting for them. That's why you need to condition your mind that if you will start your own journey and become the boss then life will become more challenging, it will become harder but it's all worth it because you own your time and you are the boss of your own empire. There is no easy path, that's the reality of life, if success is easy then all of us were swimming in money by now, but most people are still having a hard time earning a few cents. It's not going to be easy so embrace the hardship of life.
2. You don't have a plan.
Dropping out in college because you heard the story of Bill Gates and Steve Job, these two guys became successful without having a diploma so you follow their footsteps without having a plan. You think you can do it but you don't even have a goal. If you don't have a plan then you will never reach anything, you will end up on the same place where you started. Because if you don't have a plan then you will get lost easily, you will quit when the going gets tough. Your plan will help you persevere especially if you believe it. Make a plan even if it's too simple, create a philosophy that you will follow during hard times.
3. You believe in what people say.
Your mind can easily get manipulated by other people. You have an instinct, there is an idea that suddenly show up that you feel will work but you follow other people instead. They said that it's not going to work, they said that it's impossible so you follow them instead of following your heart. You have to believe in yourself, that is the first step to success, the second step is simply working hard as much as you can.
4. You're focused on the results.
Most people failed because they were too focused on the results. If you're always looking at your bank account or status in life then you will never become big. It's because most of your time will be spent on worrying, frustrations and neediness, you want the result so bad that you already forgotten how to work hard and give your best. Your patience is running out, you're not trusting the process anymore. What if you're focus on the process and you learn how to love every action that you take, what do you think will be the result?
