Your mind is your most powerful resources to become successful in life, your mind is everything, if it is powerful and focused on one thing then you will live a wonderful and easier life. Most people are living a miserable life because they can't control their minds. If you can't control your mind then it will control you.
1. Learn to quiet your mind.
Close your eyes and breathe, detach from the outside world for a while, focus on breathing. Inhale and exhale, just watch your thoughts come and go, focus on your breathing and never resist. Do this for 5 minutes a day, you will not see instant benefits but for sure it will help you. This is meditation, it's cleaning your mind, it's removing the unwanted thoughts. So every time you experience pressure you can handle it very well. Meditation will help you to become mentally tougher, it will help you to stay calm during tough times. Quieting your mind every now and then will give you a mental stamina that will help you to keep pushing whenever you wanted to quit.
2. Adapt a personal philosophy.
When you're working hard and you can't see results the tendency is you will quit or you will stop for a long time and think if it's still practical to continue. This will make you stuck and productive. If you have a personal philosophy that you believe then it will be easier for you to go back on track and work hard again. My own personal philosophy is simply moving forward, grinding and pushing even if nothing right is going on. And it helps me a lot, it's becoming my way, it helps me to do more even if I feel frustrated because of not getting enough results. And sooner or later I am making a progress already. Choose a belief, believe in something when tough times is already here.
3. Stop watching TV for 5 days
News, stupid game shows, sports that eats your time for 8 hours, cartoons, movies. It's all eating a lot of your precious time, smash your television if you can't stop it. I know you want to stop watching but you can't because you already got addicted to the feeling it gives you. You need to stop watching TV for 5 days so that your mind will have a rest. So that it can think about different things and that will help you to become more productive. TV contains a lot of useless and harmful information that will mess up your mentality, you need to stop it or else your mind will be consumed by different information that will make you mentally weak.
4. Eat healthy foods and drink plenty of water.
Vegetables and fruits will help you to make your system clean. A clean body will give you a faster and more productive mind. Junk foods, lot of cholesterol will make you unmotivated. There is nothing wrong in eating that but you should take into consideration that you also must eat in moderation, you must know when to stop or when to deprive yourself from eating a lot of junk. If you're chasing a goal then you need to stay healthy so that you will have more energy and your brain will function well. Lots of water will make your blood circulate, it will help you to flash the toxins inside of your body, it will give you more energy. Water is very helpful to make your mind stronger because your mind is made up of water so it also needs a lot of water.
5. Run or Jog for 30 minutes.
Running or jogging is like meditation. You are pushing yourself little by little, every time you do this your mind is getting stronger and stronger. It also make your blood circulate which is very good for the brain. You will also feel much better every time you exercise. It's the best medication, it can help you to cure your depression or anxiety. Just run and you will feel much better, you will feel more confident especially if you're doing it everyday. Just put your shoes on and run, stop thinking, stop hesitating, stop worrying about what will happen next... put your shoes on and run.
6. Let go of what controls you the most.
What controls you the most? anger? social media? resentment? enemy? past? cellphone? problems? you better let go of these things. They are controlling you, they are manipulating your mind. It's time to reclaim your mind, those things are eating a lot of your time and draining your energy. I know you want to get rid of them, do it now, drop it. You will become more productive, you will move faster and feel merrier when you let go of something that runs inside of your head. Let go of the negativity, let go of the time waster so that you will be able to think better and become more productive. Just ignore what controls you the most, stop thinking about it, stop talking about it. You should feel like being on an electric chair every time you think about what controls you.
7. Fasting.
Fasting will put your mind and body into a different dimension. It will help you to feel something different, and when you feel different your mind will think differently. Fasting will make you healthier, it will give you an edge. You will become more productive because your mind will switch to productive mode. Intermittent fasting is the best, don't eat for 16 hours and just drink water or tea, do this for 7 days and see the difference, you will feel different, you will become more positive and patient.
